Honestly, even in my case, with a baby that has a small abdominal defect called an "Omphalocele" with intestine only, I am THANKFULLY being supported to VBA2C in a high risk hospital believe it or not!!! The medical care system IS CHANGING. Keep up the good work mamas! Advocate for yourselves!!! The more we do it, the more doctors will have to become evidence-based!

I wish you were in my area. I am pregnant with baby #6. My 2nd was C-section and I’ve had 3 successful vbacs since then. Because the birthing center in my area will no longer do vbacs, I’m seeing a new OB this time around and I’m being told that because I’m obese I may not be allowed to try for a Vbac, even though I was considered obese with every single one of my pregnancies in the past.
Is this normal?
