Salted Date Hot Chocolate!

For me, hot chocolate hits the most when there is snow. I just have that core memory of coming in after playing in the snow and drinking hot chocolate.

Hot chocolate is good year round but I've had it even up to April. But I've never had a date hot chocolate. And I've just recently bought dates to make date bark with. So not only do I appreciate your humbleness but this video was right on time.

This was so yummy!!! I only had carmel dark chocolate, so used that. I also added a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne, topped with whipped cream. Swoon!!

Have you ever tried with a tsp of regular tahini blended into your hot chocolate…it is indescribably good! The tahini does thicken it by the way as well and adds a beautiful aroma to the hot chocolate

Just made this today! It’s so good! One thing I’d recommend is soaking the pitted dates in the milk before hand to soften them up before blending. This will allow for a creamier drink 😊

Made it and it’s delicious !! Hot chocolate is a must for me in fall and winter ! I sometimes have it in spring and summer as well.
