I highly recommend doing a test on yourself to find you max HR. 220-age was very far off for me and made all my zones way off. It was saying my max HR is 195 while my recorded max HR in a maximum exertion is actually 204-205. I dont say that to brag but to point out just how far off that rough estimate can be. A difference that size can make your zone 2 almost useless. All my endurance based activities kept coming through as mostly zone 4 and 5 efforts when in reality they were mostly in zone 2 with some zone 3 once the zones were corrected.
