Catherine Cornille, Newton College Alumnae Chair of Western Culture and professor of comparative theology, Boston College Department of Theology

October 3, 2019

This lecture focuses on the growing phenomenon of religious or spiritual fluidity and its implications for Christian thought and practice. While the lack of full and single-minded belonging to the Church challenges the sense of community as well as the continuity of the tradition, it also represents an opportunity for critical self-reflection: what are religious hybrids looking for beyond Christianity? How might the Church respond?

I love this video. It talks about the deep concern in my heart of my christian identity and buddhism inclination to some extend. I feel pleasant to hear this clear and rational explaination. I would like to read corresponding books when i come to Boston College . Thank you.
