About Spider-Man 2 Movie:
Stan Lee's all-too-human superhero returns to the screen in this highly anticipated sequel to 2002's blockbuster hit Spider-Man. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is attempting to juggle college classes and his job as a photographer with the Daily Bugle while maintaining his secret life as costumed crime-fighter Spider-Man. Parker is also struggling to hold on to his relationship with Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), who is beginning to enjoy success as a model and actress, and both Mary Jane and Peter have noticed he's beginning to buckle under the strain. Parker's friendship with Harry Osborn (James Franco) is also beginning to fray due to Peter's seeming alliance with Spider-Man, whom Harry blames for the death of his father, the nefarious Norman Osborn. As Parker weighs his responsibilities to himself and those around him against the obligations that come with his special powers, Spider-Man is faced with a new nemesis -- Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), a deranged scientist whose latest project has turned him into the near-invincible cyborg Doctor Octopus. Spider-Man 2 was directed by Sam Raimi, who helmed the first film, and much of the original cast has also reunited for this sequel, including Rosemary Harris, J.K. Simmons, and Bruce Campbell.

Peter went through so much in this movie. He had trouble paying the bills, was on the verge of failing his classes, the Daily Bugle constantly painted him as a villain, his best friend hated him, the love of his life was getting married to someone else and most of all, he still felt guilty for what happened to Uncle Ben.

Man, no wonder he lost his powers. He was under so much stress that he subconsciously didn’t want to be Spider-Man anymore.

These movies are one of the biggest reasons we even have super hero movies still coming out

That shot was 100% CGI.
This movie came out in 2004 and it has better special effects than a lot of movies today, it's insane.

I just realized that the closeups of Spiderman swinging in this scene were all CGI. No wonder this movie got an oscar for visual effects.

One of the most powerful Spider-Man swings ever. He used to swing low to the ground, near the people, full of thrill and excitement. But now he's swinging high, away from everyone, filled with solemn. He hates being Spider-Man. All it does is destroy his life. He doesn't enjoy swinging anymore

The scene where Peter is having dinner with Doctor Octavius and his wife was intended as a sad mirror of the family life that Peter wants but can never have

I love how they show him falling from that hit, hitting a building, knonking his head off a metal dumpster and faceplanting. Only to casually get back up. Shows how durable dude is

I swear I could cry watching these Spiderman films. Not only was it my childhood but also had lots of the kind of drama that forces tears, especially that in this Spiderman film. :'(

Idk why the beginning part of this clip is just so... calming. Seeing Spidey swinging a very slow motion edit feels.. nice. Makes me wish I had Spidey powers. Imagine the view.

Ah... The good ol days, when Superhero films had Storytelling, without a ton of pointless dialogue... What am I talking about? Spider-Man 2 is the only superhero film with this level of storytelling. A true masterpiece.

1:20 I like how Peter carried that paper all the way home on foot just so Sam Raimi could have that cool transiston shot lol

He lost his powers due to the stress of being both Peter Parker and Spider-Man and the fact that Mary Jane would marry another man

I like how he's just swinging casually but the slow-mo shows us that he was heartbroken and lost faith in himself despite the mask. How genius the director was!
