I'm coming at you this time with tips that I think should be told to you in the game! While most mechanics have a hint somewhere, like through 'Living on the Land' or secret notes, these are just in the game with no hints!

Y'know, passing out at 2am from lack of energy sounds like a godsend for those times when my sleep schedule goes off the rails.

Not sure if it was said or its just something everyone already knows lol but the saloon sells birthday gifts...let me explain. Pretend its Jodi's bday, if you go to the saloon and scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu there will be an option to buy Jodi's favourite dish/meal that you can gift her. It happens on everyones bday :)

Queen of Sauce reruns on wednesdays will always show recipes you have missed. You will only see recipes you already know if you haven't missed any! From year 3 onwards, the reruns on Sundays will appear in the same order as they originally aired but wednesday reruns will still prioritise missed recipes.

A tip I would add to this list is that while you're casting your fishing line you can hold your directional keys to change where the bobber lands in the water. Game changer for reaching those fishing bubbles you thought you couldn't reach.

Tip 8 - according to the wiki, only the center crop needs to be fully-grown and watered for a giant crop. Tip 15 - the wiki lists some silver quality items that give the best response. Tip 17 - Robin's prices quintuple, not double.

I would also mention that in Options, you can turn on a feature that shows you where your tool will hit. I don't think this is automatically turned on when you start your first game, in all the next games it is.

I was always scared to use the Magnet bait because it said that the fish aren't crazy about the taste. Good to know it does not affect them the way I thought it would 🙃

One other thing I would add to the list is, if you harvest your crops from west to east vs east to west you will harvest them faster. Idk the reasoning behind this but harvesting starting at your most western crop and going east is way faster.

This is great list for people who are fairly new to the game. I appreciate that it doesn't contain any spoilers or cheats.

Unless it was changed in a patch, I believe for giant crops it actually only needs to be the middle one that is watered. The surrounding 8 can even be not fully grown, as long as the middle crop is grown and watered, there will be a chance for it to turn into a giant crop.

I think Robin's prices quintuple in year 2 rather than double like Clint's. And I think you also don't get an energy penalty when you level up even if you pass out from exhaustion by depleting the energy bar

Forageables and artifact spots respawn on Saturday, you can leave them until then and then just runa around and collect them all

On PC the game is fully playable without a mouse and actually just your left hand!! The mouse buttons are also mapped to X and C so you can literally curl up on your side with your laptop open and play with just one hand poking out of the blankets. 10/10 way to relax for the evening.

I just learned this by accident: On controller you can hit RB when you have a chest open to automatically select the Add to Existing Stacks button.

I’m sure y’all knew this but I only found out a day ago. Apparently if you put a fire quarts in a furnace you get 3 refined quarts. I was struggling to finish the community center cause of the refined quarts but it’s so easy to get!

Also, exhaustion when passing out can be prevented by interacting with your spouse and getting the little red heart above your head!

For the tip 27, the fishing cast indirectly matter. In fact, closer you are to the perfect cast, futher away the fishing bubber will be threw. Your level of fishing also increase the distance. And in most map, high quality fish area are pretty far from the shore, and mainly when you are low levrl in fishing, it's important to have a good cast, not necessary a perfect but at least a good one. The different fishing quality area of all maps are available in the wiki, so you can see the fishing spots which doesn't require big distance.

I figured out 2 different tricks by accident. First one, When you are about to pass out and you lost track of time in the mines and you know you won't make it home in time but you don't want to lose $5, 000 and half of your items, Just eat something poisonous to drain the rest of your health and energy. You'll pass out but when you wake up the next day in your bed, you will still have all of your items, you will get a letter saying you passed out and that you were billed $1, 000 from the hospital but that is way better then losing 5, 000 and half your items. Another trick, if you are about to pass out and you know you can't make it home from the mines, (assuming you haven't unlocked the carts yet), If you can atleast make it to Linus's tent, you can go in there and pass out in his tent. You'll wake up the next day in your bed with only half energy for the day, but you won't lose any money or any of your items because Linus will have your back all night.

New to Stardew Valley. Didn’t pick up on most of these on my own, especially the relationship status and gifts tip. I love the way you present the information in your videos! Your tone and clarity are top-notch.

I think others have noticed but the Trash Bear is by the Forest Sewer Entrance, not the Mines. :) Also, to add to the tip about checking the social tab's gift details for specific villagers, you can click each villager for a unique animation and the background changes with time of day like the farmer's portrait. (I had another tip about that but as I was typing I realized it might only exist because I use UI Info Suite, but if I have one of the items listed on the villager's page in my inventory when I'm looking at the page, the item has a little backpack icon to show me that I have it -- but like I said, I'm not sure if that's vanilla or UI Info Suite)
