I play this game to relax because the atmosphere it’s peaceful and quiet, and I think it’s the purpose of the all game. Then there are these people who play it like Doom

Wheat is my favorite crop in stardew valley because they do so much:
1. They sell for very cheap, but the beer made from putting wheat in kegs sells for 8x the raw price. Profit!
2. You get so much hay from harvesting wheat too. Just make sure the silo has space for it
3. With the abundant amount of wheat I collect, I can keep putting it into the seed maker to stock up on ancient seeds.
4. Planting wheat at the end of the season can prevent the soil from ‘resetting’ when the seasons change

Wheat is huge. For 10g you can make beer that sells for 100g in 5-6 days, 4 for planting and then 2 for crafting

You can double planting by (pc) hold x and aim the soil beside your character and move at the same time

While you holding seed and press X it will plant the crop under your position
And if you click another soil at the same time it will plant 2 crop at the same time

I will waste time planting fields and fields of wheat because i know that it can grow without need to watering it because of the amount of rains in summer and fall

The only things i buy from stock list outside of the current season would be regrowable crops because they will make way more money and continue after 1 harvest

While cranberries and pumpkins are great profit for fall, if you have agriculturist + deluxe speed gro or just hyper speed gro, bok choy will get 13 harvests so long as they're planted on either the 1st or the 2nd.

It's a lot of harvesting and replanting, but if you have sprinklers it cuts out a lot of the work for some insane profits.

You should only plant an entire field of wheat if it’s just reaching the end of the season and you have JUST enough time to plant it.

I mainly just make massive areas of ancient fruit and then set junimo huts to do all the work. Only need to replant in the spring. I do the same with the island but those need to be hand picked however they never need replanting so place seed makers there for your next spring planting at the homestead. Also I do a full 5 tile wide thicket of coffee beans along the bottom row at the island, from one side to the other, and have kegs all along the beach for basically infinite coffee turned to espresso in a day or 2. My gf gets annoyed that my farms always turn out the same but why fix something that isn't broken?
