Wickedy here and I'm back with another Tips and Tricks video for Stardew Valley!

The 1.5 update added some great new aspects into the game, and with it, I have some more tips to share that I've come across while playing a few new farms.

You can also throw the driftwood into the wood chipper and get more wood than you would with the recycler, btw.
I always take the geodes to Clint, because I am always short on coal, and since it only costs 25g to crack a geode, it's cheaper than buying coal to use with the geode crusher.
I, too, love the deconstructor! I use them to get some of the materials back after crafting something I won't use (for the 'craft every item' achievement.) However, it had not occurred to me to 'recycle' my almost worn out fishing tackle! Thank you!

I actually really liked the tip about putting the extra torches around town and near the farm. I have so many torches at this point in the game.

You didn't say how to stop your cast when fishing - but a very nice person told me it is the Escape Key! You can also use Driftwood in the Wood Chipper. My favourite tip from this video is about the Almost Broken Tackle... save it for Later!! Cool!

My tip for getting a lot of hardwood is fill the map with trees and once theyve all grown switch foraging professions to the hardwood perk. Its expensive but you can get a ton of hardwood in one day from regular trees. Then I switch back to the iridium foraging perk.

Im excited to get rid of those bushes on my foraging map.

Several fantastic tips I never would’ve thought about on my own!

Putting torches along common paths. So simple, so awesome, and I feel a bit dumb for not thinking of that. The mood lighting bit is a nice long term benefit.

I also had not thought about worn out tackle in the deconstructor.

WHAT?! I would have NEVER thought of putting the ancient seed packet into a deconstructer to get a ancient seed back! That’s wild. I doubt I would realistically GET to the island without having found the seed, but knowing I have the option is fantastic to know! That and your other tip about tackles is just *Chef kiss* I love me my fishing whenever I don’t have anything else I want to do that day, and being able to do it more without having to worry about mining or willy’s wacky schedule is a god send. Also, Stone Chests are Better then Wood, change my mind uwu

I took notes lol:

Chest with jade, omni geode, clay, bat wing, cactus, coconut, bombs for desert;
Chest with quartz, refined quartz, parsnip, snail, jojo cola, and general gifts for Pelican Town;
Chest with wood, stone, clay for Robin's;
put Super Cucumber in fish pond (first, to find one in Summer...);
use copper pan for iridium ore;
and, you reminded me to check the monster goals board. :)
Your videos are AMAZING. I do so much research for Stardew, and your videos always teach me so many things I dont hear elsewhere. Thanks so much for what you do.

Man, I often make new farms in Stardew and a lot of these tips are honestly pretty helpful. I've put in so many hundreds of hours into this game since its release on console. Still fun to play and will freshen up my gameplay with these rather helpful tips on my next new farm.

That timer one's good if you've got machines off farm. Fill kegs up in the tunnel first, then fill one on the farm. When the farm one pops, the ones in the tunnel are ready, too.

Easiest tip to give. Use desert place your solar panels.. it is sunny every day so you won't have rainy days get in the way of your batteries!!
