Creating a Custom List in SharePoint 2016

SharePoint 2016 comes with several list templates: tasks, contacts, calendar, and more.
However, there are times when you want to create a new list but none of the list templates provided satisfy your desired list format. In this case, just create a custom list from scratch.
Note that, to create or delete a list, you need to be a site owner or have the right permissions.
If you plan to reuse your new custom list later, you may save it as a new list template.
