This tutorial will show you how to create a custom list in Microsoft SharePoint Online. A SharePoint list can help you collect and organize data similar to a spreadsheet. For example, purposes, in this tutorial, I create a custom list to collect data about invoices that need to be recorded centrally so that they can be managed and processed. SharePoint lists are great alternatives to spreadsheets for specific use-cases. You can also implement workflow on a SharePoint list through Microsoft Power Automate.

Part 2 of this tutorial will show you how to add a state-driven workflow to the SharePoint list to send emails to the individuals selected in the list item based on the status of the item.

Cool! a quick question, when I create a date & time column it appears as 2 sparate fileds one for time and the other for date, however, I saw other lists when both can be entered from the same filed, how do acheive that ?

Do the list have audit trail on who edit and what was edit? Is it possible to change back to the previous entry information?

Hi, have a little issue. When I create columns, set the rules for it like u and then click on "+ new" template with new item is not created. It is show me the list where i can choose, if i want add link to some file or folder from my PC. Am I supposed to set "+ new" button somehow?

Hi, one query.
Can we add a list inside any of the documents folder in the site?
Or will all the created lists be visible in the root menu? Like shown here in video.

Hello, one question.
if I insert column "vendor number" between "invoice amount " and "vendor name", however, when I create the new item, the "vendor number" would be at the bottom to be filled. How can I move it from the bottom to be in the middle of " invoice amount" and "vendor name", so that, every line from top to the bottom in the new item would be the same order as the column from left to right.

Hi, great video. One question please: The status is Pending approval right, and who is gonna approve it? The Manager will get an email in order to approve it? Is it sent automatically after clicking on save? And how can I create a list where every time I add a new record, the recipient gets an email. For example, I have to create a Package Delivery list and every time the Front Desk guy gets a package he creates a record in that list and the recipient should get an email warning.
