Thank you, Peter! I always love your sermons. This summer I had a mystical experience with a cypress tree. I swim in a nearby river, and the cypress tree is my turnaround point. I always stop and visit it for a few moments And if I’ve had a bad day, I would pour my troubles out to it. One day when I stopped and put my hand on a low hanging branch I felt an energy go up my arm. It was a sweet energy and the words that popped into my brain were “thank you”. I started crying and said to the tree “why are you thanking me? “ “thank you for bringing me so much comfort. “
The memory of that experience still brings tears to my eyes. It led me to the book, the secret life of trees, and I think that same author wrote the secret life of plants. There is a consciousness in everything on this planet. (Peggy)

I think the concept of unity and duality causes lots of confusion. For example, the branch, the vine, and the vinedresser under the concept of unity are actually all the same thing. Who is doing the pruning? Or, as long as we're on the Christian theams, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are meant to represent the so-called God head trinity - thats fine, because it acknowledges unity - but it is still duality became it leaves everyone else out and seperate. Or how about the opening of John. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him, there was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." This also acknowledges unity, except in Christian theology the Word is said to represent Jesus. According to what I understand, we are, in fact, "the Word" and Jesus too, otherwise its still duality, which - according to what the NDE is saying - at the end of the day so to speak- doesn’t really exist. Ive even heard MIT quantum physicists say that theoretically, we were all there at the big bang to witness it.
