I was wondering how i could hook my phone up to my laptop so that I could have a monitor for my phone when I'm making a video for my channel. I use the back facing camera because it records in higher quality, but I can't see what's in the shot because the screen of the phone is facing in the opposite direction. This way, I can record myself AND see what it's recording on my laptop. Thanks!!!

I have a micro usb to usb an have docking station that can connect to your phone, works fine for keyboard an mouse. It also has a HDMI port but when I connect it all to my monitor there is no signal. So USB=Keyboard USB=Mouse HDMI= HDMI cable connected to monitor, Docking station USB= USB to Micro USB cable= Phone micro USB port. Docking station Dell displaylink 4K.
