Hi, I am thinking of creating a channel with some physical activities for kids, will use my 5 year old son with me and want audio to coach. I know there are many like me, to provide activities for kids when they are indoors.... could you give some advice or make a video about what would be the best equipment? Idea is to do it indoors, but also thinking of making videos outdoors.

If you have a selfie stick, you might already have this adapter without realising it. I was just messing around with my selfie stick, and I discovered that when I removed the phone holdy thing (that's a technical expression), there was a quarter inch threaded socket that fitted onto the tripod's base plate.

Yesterday Me an my brother were attempting a world record and we needed 3 camera angles and we REALLY needed the two phones we were using to work on any tripod! But they wouldn't so we set them up on the ground and used that. But now we will use this thank you SO much!

I got the MePhoto adapter no base plate needed it slides in
Best part my tripod has one leg that is removable and now I have a monopod or a pole to get overhead shot you just need a inexpensive remote to trigger the phone camera or like on iPhone use the corded headphones as a remote or set the timer all methods work I stated using my phone as my second camera.
Forgot to add the base of the adapter has three 1/4 -20 screw holes so you can mount it to others stands and equipment
My tripod is my old trusty beat up Roadtrip model
