Kiely Rodni: Dive team says teen's body found, law enforcement to hold press conference Monday

Law enforcement has not confirmed that the body is Kiely Rodni, and a family representative says they have nothing to share until they hear from deputies.

No offense her friend doesn't sound too hurt or affected by the situation. She said herself that Kiely called and asked her if she needed or wanted a ride home. I don't know if i believe her story actually. I think that conversation was very different from what she is saying. You went out to the party with Kiely but you decided to ride with another friend. there is something very fishy about her story. And the fact she didn't ride back with her and she knew Kiely had been drinking and intoxicated but yet you bailed on her when she needed a friend.

It sounds to me that her friend was aware of her level of intoxication but chose to avoid the situation instead of intervening in it. Perfect example of how powerful knowledge can be. If the right people knew, Kiely wouldn't have been behind the wheel that night. Don't just think of how a situation is more convenient to you. Think about how it can affect others and act if the situation presents a potential hazard.

As a parent of 2 now adult daughters, It is so incredibly sad that someone did not help this girl by seeing how intoxicated she was and taking her keys away from her. If only someone would have called her family, another friend, or relative to come and pick her up. Teens, if you are reading this and you run into someone at a party who is too intoxicated to drive, help them get home safe, no matter what it takes. Even if they end up hating you for being a snitch, they will be alive and you may have saved their life and the life of some other innocent driver/family. Everyone makes mistakes, especially during their teen years. Her parents would have loved the opportunity to come and pick her up. 😮‍💨 Take care of each other. Even if you just met the person, do what is right for them.

16 year old drinking by herself disoriented and a place that's very dark and not well lit motor skills compromised equals a tragedy that her mom did not keep a better eye on her along with her dad

Authorities? Law Enforcement? It took a private search team to find her. And they found her within hours of getting there.

The body found in the vehicle is in fact, Kiely. It is confirmed regardless.

I think her friend knew how wasted she was and that's why she wouldn't ride with her. If her friend was sober she should have took Kiely's keys and maybe she would still be alive.

Not much of a friend if you know your friend is wasted and you do not make sure they remain safe if you don't go with her you make her come with you if you know she's not in a situation to keep an eye on herself it's your duty as a friend to protect her or you're not much of a friend
