Calm your panic attack now with this meditation. A guided talk-down designed to be used after a panic attack to help in those first few moments when you feel terrified, panicky and like nothing will help calm you down.

By concentrating on slowing down your breath (belly breathing) and naming your physical sensations you can begin managing panic attacks without medication.

I’ve been there both as a woman experiencing a panic attack and as a psychologist helping others.

When I was working as a therapist I was rarely there during a panic attack but the words in this video are exactly what I would say to someone to walk them through the calming down process.

This video is more than a meditation, it’s a friend talking you through a panic attack, coaching you back down to a calm place, when it’s hard to think clearly.

Follow the clear instructions to help bring you back to your body and breath. Use it whenever you feel panic rising. No need to sit down or even close your eyes.

Wow...i was having an anxiety attack due to lack of sleep and insomnia and felt out of control. By the end of this video my breathing had got better I had dropped off into a lovely snooze.

I love that you explained what the brain was telling the body to do during a panic attack, that it had swiched into defense mode. It made me see beyond the "oh my god, I'm never going to sleep again" thoughts racing through my mind.

I feel so much gratitude to you for this video.

Very logical and actually scientific, the breathing is the key and breathing controls heart rate which controlling breathing can help bring us down from that crazy scary ride we are on when panic stricken, I like this one!

When the Ativan didn’t work, this did help. I have a fever and the higher heart rate is causing panic

My panic is circle i slow n come back. Why I only worry about my heart ? How to stop worry about it? I have panic at 3 hours slow until my bed time I start to feel it again because I'm so sleepy.
