Just went to Lowes, took the stem out tried to get replacement.The guy told me I need to remove the whole thing.Told him I couldn't get it off.He said break the wall and cut the pipe.Thought about it and asked can't I just replace the washer.He said NO, he has been doing this for 20 yrs and always leaks.Ignored him and got a few washers and it works great.Just did this 10 minutes ago.Came inside and this video popped up Lol

Here we have a main valve inside the house. That's why you normally don't have to shut off the outside main valve...

it is easy if you know where to look. Mine was missing both a screw and the washer.

Went to Lowes and grab a washer kit, then find a screw short 18-24 screw. (i could be wrong about the number)

I’m a 16 year old who wants plumbing as my career but for me things seem so complicated plus my memory of small details isn’t the greatest but not horrible, it just makes me worry a bit.

Big box and plumbing don't carry replacement gaskets... they all told me replace the silcock
