This game came out the year my mother died from lung cancer. I was 17 years old. It was the first Silent Hill game I ever played. In a strange way, this game kind of helped me grieve. I used to deliberately play it in total darkness just to scare myself even more.

My favourite Silent Hill. I like SH2 and James' history but Heather is the best. I love her sassiness and rebellious attitude towards everything what is happening around her. Also it's nice that we visit Silent Hill in the middle of the game because it works much better than being there already at the start.

One of my favorite survival horror games ever (and games ever period.) I like the story and themes in SH 2 a bit better, but SH 3 is very special in its own right.

I am a huge fan of the Silen Hill games and I am playing them again at the moment. I was wondering which ReShade or whatever mod you used to enhance the color palettes / shadow effects, etc... the overall result is stuning ! I couldn't find anything online or on youtube, and seeing these enhancements here, made me wonder ;) many kisses from France.

Wow this is looking pretty smooth and crisp. Such a difference from the PS2 days. I remember playing this game non-stop all the way back when it was brand new. When Harry died, it broke me somehow and I felt miserable the rest of the time I played the game. Even when I beat it, it didn't satisfy me in the least. Not to say I didn't enjoy the game, it just left me feeling empty and maybe that was the point?

Anyway, this makes me want to replay it myself now...maybe I will. Thanks for this stream.
