I have a feeling this song is actually about Claudia Wolf rather than Heather. Think of it. Which of the two never had a loving family or social circle? The clear answer is Claudia- Heather was loved by Harry, her mother for what little time she had, and appears to have held a normal social life (notice she's not awkward like Henry from SH4). Claudia in this whole game is looking for purpose and salvation- even the God summoned by Claudia resembles Alessa for this reason.

I love how this starts off as a ballad and becomes and absolute thrashing of raw emotion & misery -- I've listened to this so many times and I'm still always absorbed by it.
I also love how the guitar riff starting at 2:06 (which is amazing) was later reused in not only 'Your Rain', but was used very well in the song at the end of Short Message!
