In this video I start by introducing differentiation from first principles and then use this idea to differentiate sin and cos. Then I go onto show a general approach to finding the derivative of any sin or cos function.

For the last example, do you know why it wouldn't be negative reciprocal for the gradient, as it's for the tangent to the curve?

How does it cancel out??
