Finally reaching the end of our first year of A Level Maths Mechanics we are taking a look at Pulleys.

Pulleys are within the final chapter which takes a look at forces, using Newton's second law F=ma.

Students should be confident with SUVAT before tackling this topic, be aware of the consequences of using a light inextensible string and smooth pulleys as these are all standard exam questions.

All questions in this video are taken from old A Level Maths Exam papers however they are still useful for revision on the new A Level Maths spec! (This is true for all exam boards such as AQA and OCR as well)
