An open bowl of baking soda does the same thing and looks pretty in a glass container. I keep a small bowl directly behind my toilet because it also helps with absorbing odors too. Potpourri bowls often come with perforated lids that allow sent out, air in so setting one on a shelf is a beautiful way to disguise functionality when filled with either crushed charcoal or with baking soda!

When buying charcoal *meant for the BBQ, ensure it doesn't have added ingredients, like petroleum byproducts, to help it light quickly!*

Pam is correct, but to add, if moisture in your bathroom is really bad, your fan is broken or clogged. Every bathroom should have a fan that pushes the moisture out of your house, but people forget to clean them and they don’t function properly.

Going to try this in my bathroom...
And speaking of charcoal, I have a plant that was withering. It's leaves were drooping. I bought charcoal for plants. Mixed some in the soil and my plant looks alive and healthy... Thank you always Miss Pam. God bless you!

We had a moisture problem (not in the bathroom), in the living room, bedroom. What we did was install those whirlybird spinners on the roof. Yes, it worked, we have zero moisture problems.

In the winter, we do have a small amount in the bathroom behind the toilet. I purchased those moisture grabbers from the Dollar tree.

Perhaps if we have it this year, I'll do the charcoal --- that's what we did for the fridge.
