Predator 9500 Inverter Generator Carbon Monoxide Kill Switch

Показать описание
The 9500 constantly dies due to carbon monoxide detected. the generator can be in the middle of a field by itself with no breeze and it will kill itself thinking there is too much carbon monoxide. I'll show you how to fix this if you're having the same issue.

Predator 9500 with 186 hours wouldn't start before our slammed coffee event today. This bypass ended up solving it. I didn't find this video in time to save the event, but it was a Godsend later that afternoon to know that it's fixed for the next gig. Thank you Derrick!

Just picked up a non-starter unit with 5.2 hours on it for less than half price. Your trick brought it back to life, and it runs perfectly now. Thank you.

Derek, thank you for the video and info. I’m down here in Fort Myers finally done battling Ian. First time using my 9500 and it started cutting off. The video was a LIFESAVER. Your instructions were easy to follow even for an old guy like me. Thank you again Derek. Works beautifully.

Derek you're a lifesaver brother! September 4th 2022 Southern California desert and it is 108 109 the last week and a half. I need this generator to run my mother's oxygen concentrator. Darn generator would keep shutting down and the co light would start blinking. I will do the bypass tomorrow early a.m. when it's still halfway cool. Too darn hot!! Appreciate guys like you out there helping the community. Keep on making these videos, I have subscribed...
Can't thank you enough.

Thank you so much! Mine kept tripping in the middle of the backyard. Absolutely ridiculous. When I bust out the generator it's an emergency and I need it to RUN right now. Now it does.

It worked !!!! I keep my generator in the back in my truck bed. It’s to heavy to take on & off by myself. My generator worked perfectly but it keeps cutting off. Now it’s running like a sewing machine.

Wow what a trip ! Today I use my predator generator 9500 for the very first time, And it shut off and the yellow light was blinking I could not figure out what the problem was I thought maybe I didn’t have enough gas in the tank one gallon of gas ⛽️ in the tank only .
I thought maybe it was the battery because I didn’t hook up the battery..After watching your video and reading other comments you solve the problem brother thank you for the video
Much thanks from California
Note: I took the cover off I taped up the sniffer thinking it would block out the carbon but I still was facing the same problem realizing that the oxygen sensor or the wire harness was bad so I followed your instructions and the problem with the way it’s running like a sewing machine now💡

Otay I tied it AND it worked AWESOME ! Tanks much for you help. I tried several small engine repair shops and they wouldn't touch tanks again Glenn :)

All the digging looking for info on this sensor and you finally showed something useful. Thank you.
Don't have one of these units and was doing pre-purchase research.

This video just saved me a ton of headache. My Duromax XP9000iH is essentially the same model. It would crank over an act like it was going to start, but it would immediately cut off. I could not get the thing to start for the life of me. Crank, fire, cut off, CO light blinks 1x. Like the CO detector would immediately turn it off as soon as it turned over. I found the wires you show, but I didn’t snip the wires. I unplugged the harness from the back of the CO2 detector, and use a 18 gauge quick splice from the parts store to jump the two wires. Now it’s working like it’s supposed to!

Hey thanks for the video, hard to find a straight answer. Mines in an outdoor baffle box and shuts down every couple hours from the sensor. This fix seems easy enough, I appreciate it

Awesome!👍 I was holding off on getting one because of them not working. Now I hope someone does a video of the generator not working because of the oil sensor not working properly. Thank you for a great video.
