Marceline the Vampire Queen has been rocking on this Earth for over a thousand years, so naturally, she has one of the most emotional family histories of the entire series. I’m so sad the show didn’t talk much about her parents relationship and how they met since her mom obviously met her dad before the mushroom war or around it so how a human knew about the king of demons? And why didn’t the mom go to stay with Marcy’s dad cuz that will be safer for her and her daughter since the dad IS SO POWERFUL

actually, I think Marceline dated PB before Ash, as Finn was there when Marceline broke up with him and Marceline and Bonnibel broke up before the events of the show and then rekindle their relationship officially becoming a couple in the final episode and being a couple in the Obsidian, it could be that Marceline had a few boyfriends and girlfriends before dating Princess Bubblegum again but one reason or another it never worked out it could because of Marceline's trust issues or she had unlucky taste in significant others or she still had feelings for PB making it hard to connect with others in a romantic way

It's kinda weird how such a fundamentally bizarre and zany dynamic between multiple supernatural beings is one of the most emotionally authentic depictions of watching a family member lose themselves to dementia in modern television. A *lot* of us have a Simon in our lives, even if none of us have a thousand year old adoptive Wizard Dad in any of ours.

I think Marcy dated Ash after Bonnie. PB seems to know who Hambo is and she even describes him as Marcy's "old teddy bear", implying that she knew him from a long time ago. Also, it just makes more sense, there's no indication that Ash is ageless, in fact most of the wizards in AT age.

Marceline is cool. She had a long life, and will have even more.
She lost many on her way yet gained much later too.
She is an awesome character and I am glad to have a character who I will have joy of kissing after distant lands(or who knows? Maybe we'll see her one day again)

Also, they went to the trouble of naming the vampires after the Tarot cards but they didn’t have a full set?
Also didn’t know the King was Wheel of Fortune. Seems like he should have been the Emperor or The World.
