Get your amateur radio license and you’ll be legal depending on what region you are in and frequency allocation. Line of sight in radio terms is further than visual line of sight.

The Bandit has just been released - a step up from the Ranger. The Bandit operates in the 900MHz band with an estimated range of over 800km, which is basically unattainable via line of sight due to Earth’s curvature. So, basically, you’ll never fly out of range. It has been flown out to 126km with 100% link quality.

Just need a 990000 mah battery that would be too heavy to even fly. I use lion and still would not be able to reach those distances with my LR 7". Furthest we've flown was 6 mi out and back. My R9 rssi never went below 70. Video started getting snowy with helical and 1.2 watt vtx
