Kyrgos actually lost the point he had duly won, a strange application of the rules. You would think actual play was legally over when Medvedev missed the volley. More bizarre was what happened on the point before this. Kyrgos took a tumble and fell flat on his back. He took a long time to get up with Medvedev going over to check out.
