Old Anvil Turned into War Axe

This is a beautiful Valhalla Axe made out of Anvil Horn.

Unless that anvil had a massive crack caused by a void in the center of it, you sir are a hapless butcher. Someone would have loved to work atop that old iron after a little restoration. Shame on you.

Wow. A lot to unpack. Great Skyrim steel axe. You obviously have skills. I object to using an old anvil that could have been restored as the source of the steel. Maybe I’m being overly sentimental but I love old anvils. My cousin has a collection and I help him restore them as time allows.

The thing with old Anvils, is that most of them were Wrought Iron bodied, which had Steel plates forge welded to the Face, and the horn. so in all likelyhood, you've made an Axe with Wrought Iron. Not a good choice.

I hate how you always destroy perfectly good, functional and valuable objects that could be better off in a home where they will be valued and used as intended instead of made into stupid and useless decorations.

What you have done in this video borders on criminal abuse. There was nothing wrong with the anvil. It should have been cleaned up and sold to an actual craftsman who would have done far better things with it than you ever could have. An axe with a 2 part handle (aluminum and wood) is a recipe for disaster if you actually intend on using that axe for real work. You have taken a perfectly good tool and made a real pretty toy with it. You shouldn't be allowed to ruin tools to make junk toys with. Just stop.
