Unfortunately, as of Minecraft Bedrock 1.15 or so, you can no longer set a super flat to custom blocks. It now only works in Java or in older copies.

i remember on the old ps4/xbox edition of minecraft (you know, the one with minigames built in. not bedrock but also not java) and there was a customize world option just like that (maybe easier) and i remember making an ENTIRE world from y=255 all the way down to y=0 (there were no negatives, just death) and me and my friends would light the tnt and watch as the entire world nuked. it held up very well surprisingly. better than java or bedrock would.

I generally use this superflat: Stained Glass, 62*Concrete (of the same colour) and then iron block. This is the settings for my testing worlds and it has worked marvels for me.

You can also change the biome to anything you desire including nether and end biomes and even add decoration on the top layer of your world, making it able for trees, grass, water and lava lakes to spawn!
