Great jockey! Just saw a video last night on how a proper bit fit makes all the difference. Impressed that strap which will keep the metal o-ring from sliding into the horse’s mouth as reining changes is there.

I once heard Oisin say in an interview that he became a jockey because he had loved horses since he was a child, that’s one of the reasons he is so good, if he can keep his demons at bay I’m sure he will become one of the greats.

On the other end of the spectrum, I saw Sean Leavey literally punch a horse in the head for playing up at the start 😮

Oisin Murphy. What can I say? Yes he’s had his troubles who hasn’t but let me say this lad is the best horseman of his age ANYWHERE in the world. I was at Ayr the day he broke on the scene winning 4 races on Gold cup Day. The world stopped n looked then. Andrew Balding is a master at getting these apprentices READY.
