I'm still on IOS 12.3 with my 6S plus, and everything works fine, but some newer app versions are refusing to open unless I upgrade. I'm going to install IOS 15 tonight, and if it bricks or otherwise becomes to compromised, I guess I'll be forced to go out and get a new phone. Six years with the same phone is a record for me, but so was paying over $1000 for a phone.

How do you get a newer version of the iOS on my 6s Plus? I have mine set up for auto updates and it only gets me to 12.5.5, which was just installed a few weeks back.
