Tbh, I don't think it's fair to draw any conclusions about whether or not to update to iOS 15 because it's in Developer beta 1. Save the speed tests for the stable versions.

Just updated my 6s to iOS 15 and it is so much faster. Must be at least 3 times faster, feels like new! I’m happily surprised.

iOS 15 isn’t optimized for iPhone 6s, that’s why it’s “slower” . iOS 15 was made specifically for iPhone 13 but was also coded to run on older devices. My iPhone 12 Pro Max runs so fast. Not gonna lie my iPhone XR is faster sometimes.
