I have a hand-me-down phone from my brother who told me it was 6s. However in looking at the specs it's 6+. Is there much difference? Online info is very vague on that point.

Online (even from apple) my past research indicated it should be able to go to 13, but it won't go past 12.5.5 Today I researched some more and found it should go up to 15!

I have an 11. I have never update it. My daughter says if I update it, it will ruin the phone and I will lose stuff.
