Just want to say that ending commentary was perfect, it was good to hear directly from a narrator!

I wrote this as a monster of the month/campfire story a long time ago. You brought it to life like you always manage to do.

I've always been curious myself about what that thing really is and what it really looks like underneath all that mud. I love reading peoples ideas and speculation over it.

I have been subscribed to several narrators over a huge chunk of my life all through high school all through the memories that I have, and this guy just seems to be an absolute breed apart the amount of effort sound and voice acting and how it seems like every story he adds somebody in as a alternate voice whether it be somebody who isn't the main character or maybe a female character, incredibly cool that we can experience this for free

I always love reading and hearing stories about people camping in woods, sends chills down my spine whenever it involves supernatural encounters or monsters from the darkest recesses of a person's mind. Love it!

This story proves that even classic and well known concepts like “scary humanoid monster in the woods attacks campers” can still be extremely enjoyable and unique in its own right. The climax of this story was like watching a movie in my head. The imagery and pacing was masterful and their interpretation of like a, zombie or demon or whatever is absolutely terrifying. I’ve heard plenty of woods horror stories in my life, but this one actually made me consider never stepping outside again. I think it’s the idea of such a dangerous monster being able to make itself completely undetectable under the ground is the scariest part, and the creepy tormenting of its victims is just the cherry on top. Awesome use of fear of the unknown as well, the author reveled just enough of the monster to make it scary without spoiling the charm. Loved this, 10/10.

I think the difference between yourself and other narrators is the immersion. Listening to others it's like they're reading stories whereas with your good self it's like you are *telling* the stories. There's something about your voice that suggests you've lived the tales you tell. Maybe it's the sincerity of your acting or the expertly executed sounds and music you employ but you are head and shoulders above your peers.

Your narration is so polished and so impressive. One of my favorite things to do when I find a new channel is to go back and watch older videos to get a sense of a creator's journey, and when I did that with your content, I was pleasantly surprised to find your quality has always been high. You've got such a knack for cadence and inflections that the story is what shines. I thought I didn't like horror, but it turns out I just don't like visual gore. You have flicked a nerve my friend. My 10 year old daughter is going camping with her class for the first time in 2 days. And you drop a camping horror The irony and the dad panic is real. Seriously, though I know Shelby fine, I'm just dressing now. She's my first born couldn't help a laugh. Hopefully this is gonna be a great story.
