For who doesn't know:In Japan, kuchisake onna was a scary urban legend in Japan.She would this when someone is also in the night.She says 'Am i beautiful' and if you say no she will kill you with her scissors.But if you say yes she will cut your mouth all the way to the ears.And how to escape this you have to drop money or candy in the ground and kuchisake onna would b'é distracted and you would have a few seconds to escape.And if she still fonds you she will ask you 'Am I beautiful' you have to maybe she will go.Story:There was a girl named kuchisake onna.She would go to towns and ask 'Am I beautiful'. After a period of time kuchisake onna's husband was tired of this.That's why her husband took a pair of scissors.She was angry and killed people.Now again she would go to a town.She would ask 'Am I beautiful' and if they say no she would kill them with rusty scissors And if they say yes she would take of her mask and again say 'Am I beautiful' and if they say no she would kill them under a second and if they say yes she would cut their mouth all the way to the ear and them look like her.And kuchisake onna still haunts the street of Japan Road.

Full story if you cannot find it: there was a really pretty girl and she would go around and ask men if she was pretty and obviously the men said yes. But her husband didn’t like it so cut her mouth ear to ear and she d*ed from blood loss and now her ghost haunts Japan saying to men “am I pretty?” With a mask and if the men said no she would slaughter them and if they said yes she would take her mask of and ask again if they said no then she would slaughter them and if they said yes, well while they are sleeping in their house the ghost will come to their house and cut the mouth exactly the same as her.

Something like this happens in demon slayer. The Hashira Obanai, was the born as the first boy in his family after 370 years of women. His family wasn't proud of this so they handed Obanai over to the snake demon. The snake demon trapped Obanai Ina Cage till one day he was called out of it. The snake demon told Obanai how she favored him for having one of his eyes yellow and the other green. She said since his eyes we're snake like he deserved to be marked to look like her. This demon had two slits from ear to ear sort of like this legend in the video. She then slit both sides of Obanais mouth from ear to ear. She then gave Obanai a bandage and wrapped up his mouth. Later a snake called Kaburamaru entered his cage. Obanai decided to run away with Kaburamaru. After he ran away the snake demon got mad and killed his whole family.
The part that was similar was how he got his mouth sliced from ear to ear.

This Japanese urban legend is about a girl who had a normal life, asking other men if she was pretty or not. Obviously, her husband was angry about it, and cut her face from ear to ear.
And since, she had to wear a face mask to cover. She would still go around asking people if she was pretty, if they said no, she would kill them. If they said yes, she would take off her mask and say, “How about now?” The best way to avoid her is say average, and run.
