4.6 billion years ago planet Earth formed from an enormous cloud of dust and gas circling the young Sun. The first period of Earth's history is called the Hadean Eon and during this time a lot happened. Including the formation of the Moon when a Mars-sized object called Theia crashed into the young Earth. But what was this early Earth like? Let's go back in time and experience the first days of our planet. Let's take an epic tour of a new Earth, a hellish planet that is nothing like the world we know today.

I often wonder what it would be like to go back eons in time when all three planets, Venus, Earth, and Mars had water on them at the same time. That would have been wondrous to see.
As to water from comets and asteroids, isn't there something about deuterium vs hydrogen?
