Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. The way it works in 🇬🇧 is that a scotsman, welchmen, or an ulsterite, are all considered part of their own country, UNTIL they do something important, then they’re considered british

A thing I have learned hard way during my time in UK:
It's ok to call Scottish, Irish or Welsh folk British.... but under any circumstances don't call them English. Otherwise you may cause a bar fight that way.

I was always wondering about this, TF2’s characters all come from a fairly popular country, Spy coming from the most popular from what Google says, (Soldier is US, Heavy is Russian, Scout from Boston, Demoman is Scottish, Pyro is uh.. either from earth or motherfucking fairy-land, Engineer is from Texas, Sniper was raised in Australia but born in New Zealand and Medic is German) But Britain is fairly popular within media (Etc: Britain’s got talent, X-Factor, Top Gear and most comedians are British or have that kinda similar accent thing.) so I wonder why there isn’t a British character, there was intended to be one though, the Civilian (or sometimes called The V.I.P) is British, but final game has no British people (sad.. I hate it when my birth country is unacknowledged..)


















One more thing, for the people who don’t understand Heavy being so damn smart is because in the lore Heavy has a P.H.D in Russian Literature therefore making him pretty smart.

Technically everyone from Scotland, England, or Wales is British since the island is called Great Britain, and the islands are the British Isles (so you could also throw in the Irelands as well). I think what soldier means here is that Demoman is English
