I literally kid you not in the tf2 comics, he literally can’t not eat normal and water or else he will die. He is drunk to the point where normal food and water is poisonous and only alcohol can make him survive.

Demo has not only turned all his internal organs into distilleries, he also started fermenting his bone marrow and has an alcohol-blood level instead of a blood-alcohol level. Because the TF Classic mercenaries fed him real food once
