Man I really like Dan and Mick reflections on well being in a creative context. It really contributes to the lovely community that has built up around the show. In a world of gak, TPS is an oasis.

If anyone is looking for noiseless Strat pickups, I highly recommend Kinman! I purchased an Xotic XSC-1, in which the previous owner had already loaded Kinmans. I never would have tried these due to everything I've read online about noiseless pickups but I am so glad the previous owner made that decision for me! I haven't played an endless number of Strats, nor any vintage examples, but they totally fit the bill for me.

Mick & Dan, having made a lot of records as both the artist and the producer/engineer, etc., I think a huge part of Red Light Fever is that musicians suddenly switch from "play the song and have fun with it" to "I must record the definitive supreme performance of this guitar part for all time and space." When you talk to people who have been playing & recording for a long time, it's SO rare that the studio performance of anything is their favorite version. The point of the studio isn't to record the 12 most perfect takes of your life, it's to build up songs into whatever they SHOULD be without the constraints of live-performance logistics. You gotta play like it's any of the 100 other times you played it at the Alcoholic's Lounge in Possum Ridge, Arkansas, not like "this will be engraved on my tombstone."

Collagen peptides for nail strength as well as tendon, etc... issues. Including hand/wrist tendonitis from playing - cumulative so not immediate difference but it does in fact work. Add to your morning coffee or tea and it's tasteless and odorless.

Never manage to catch the live being in Brisbane but just wanted to say how much I enjoy the channel! I've been playing since 1996 and have only just put together my first pedalboard at the tender age of 42. Listening to you guys has really re-ignited my interest in all things guitar and made me quite home sick for England!

The Gibson Memphis '59 ES-330 in VOS Natural is exactly what I have, snagged it used earlier this year. Its P90s sound superb through the RCA Sun Face I just picked up. Definitely something special about those Memphis VOS guitars, really worth picking up and holding onto!

In regards to noiseless P-90s, Lindy Fralin has a great set

"Joint Juice" is a beverage loaded with glucosamine chondriontin which are structural components of cartilage, the tissue that cushions the joints.

The Fralin noiseless P90 is exceptional.
Also one of the few that is shallower than a normal P90 so no routing needed.

Look at the Source Audio Atlas compressor. Other than that one I use the Keeley Plus 4 knob as a standard on my boards.
