Teaching is a calling. Number one: you have to love your students unconditionally...even that one who gets under your skin and you pray everyday that he's absent.... You can't fake it, though, because they'll see right through you.
If you truly care about each individual one, then you'll do whatever it takes to reach each one.

Each teacher has his/her own style. For me, I like to play educational games with them with whatever the content is and they're totally engaged. It's pretty simple. Take that worksheet you were going to give, cut apart each question, and make it into a scavenger hunt. Same assignment, different approach...and they learn something!
