Magnitude 7 5 earthquake strikes Mindanao, Philippines

On Saturday, Mindanao, Philippines, experienced a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, as reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 63 km (39 miles), according to EMSC. Subsequently, a tsunami warning was issued by the U.S. tsunami warning system in response to the seismic activity.
