Russian volcano erupts after 7.0 magnitude earthquake

The Shiveluch volcano erupted after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked eastern Russia.

Local authorities reported that the ash plume rose 8 km above sea level and extended 492 km to the east-southeast.

Residents of the Kamchatka peninsula posted footage of the earthquake online.

No injuries or major damage
were reported.

Kamchatka is a very empty place in Russia. Also probably the most pretty.
Very few people live there, for the people who do, Ukraine is literary on the other side of the world. They have nothing to do with what is going there.
To my knowledge this vulcano erupts frequently, the quake is something else though.
