Andrew has a few critiques of the 2014 Mazda 5 Touring, though he has nothing bad to say about the way it drives. A unique offering in the segment, the compact platform three-row is a popular style in Europe and elsewhere, but seldom offered in North America. Mazda sold the 5 in very-modest numbers from MY 2006-2015 in the U.S. Canada kept it until 2017, but neither market received the Skyactiv powertrain that Japan got (called the Premacy), or the higher end options of the European market.

I'll disagree with you about the handling; I can toss my daughter's '12 5 like it's a Mazda 3 of the same year. And yes, the stereo sucks--but it does do the work. My daughter refuses to upgrade the head unit and speakers, she's happy with it as is, so I don't push it.

Rear heating vents are under the front driver and passenger seats !! Second row vents are for the climate control thats why they blow cold air 😊
