This Is still my favorite one by Wale. Everything about this is genius. The 80's undertones, cinematics of the video, vulnerability in the lyrics, Sam Dew's vocals, dope musicians. I mean everything. Especially the back and white tone of the video. However the song confirms that life is anything but.... love it.

Look man, I know we give a lot of people the title “underrated” “slept on” but Wale is it. This dude makes soul music. His flow is incredible. His lyrics have substance. Dude has the whole package. 06/28/22 I keep coming back to this and every time I wish I could like it as many times as I’ve viewed it. The band is FIRE. Sam’s voice is everything. Wale can tell a story so well. On top of that, it feels like Marvin Gaye blessed this.
