I love this episode. As a Muslim, I applaud what Jack and his friends have done. I once scolded another Muslim because he kicked a dog. He said dogs are haram. I said dogs become haram if you eat their meat, not because they are near you. In my country, Indonesia, many Muslims keep dogs well without eating their meat.
