Linux Mint: How to automatically run programs on startup

This quick video tutorial shows you how you can make programs automatically run when your Linux Mint computer is starting up.

for anyone wandering past this video later:
you can run shell scripts and commands, too.
you don't need the ./ you'd usually type to tell a script to run as such in the terminal, just the pathname, script, and any arguments.
on 19, there's a little gear icon, you can run it to test the script without restarting.
