And this is the TV that this other channel was raving about over the 950g 75".That bloom box budget tv is looking like poop.This is why I like the channels that own the tv rather than just talk from best buy! With a camera. Good job villaman.

I picked up the regular 65" P Series Quantum (not X) at Best Buy for $899. Couldn't be happier. It's a great TV.

I would have liked to see you go through the performance tests like you did on your more recent Hisense 75inch tv review. I own a P series and completely agree with your assessment. I would mention that though the OS interface is brutal, it casts and handles AirPlay very well so if you’re able to navigate the streaming services using your phone the interface really isn’t a factor. Also, thanks for the videos, you answer the deeper questions that most don’t, much appreciated.

What are your initial thoughts on the 2020 model? Seems like a lot of the issues with this model were fixed via firmware. Possible that the new processor could help push the new model over the edge of greatness?

Great review! I have the 2018 P65-F1 and love it. Hooked up an Ethernet cable to my router and solved the SmartCast latency. The picture quality is a good value at its price point.

I have bought this TV with some Trial and error the 65 Sony X950g, then the Samsung Q80r, Finally settled on the P series Quantum X, They all had jail bar vertical banding, its hard to find a FALD tv without this defect, Even oled suffers from this from my experience. My first Vizio PX was pretty bad with the jail bar vertical banding but almost on par with the Samsung I returned. So I returned the 1st PX to Sams club and did an exchange. Well the 2nd tv is perfect, with test patterns of course you can see the minimal DSE or band but this one has no issues while viewing content which is amazing! For anyone wondering about the Sony and the reason I returned it, it was because the contrast was very bad, blooming was very bad for dark room viewing. bad reflections, also the dull colors it just didn't have the pop of the Samsung and Vizio imho.

how does it compare to the 950g and hisense? I honestly hated Hisense HDR and upscaling. Maybe I had a bad panel bur thought it was terrible.
