Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. When it was stated that the car was purchased by both of them when they were together I knew Judge Judy would grant him to only pay half which I think is fair. Although what he did in their marriage was messed up, legally he should only pay half.

I'm kind of siding with the defendant here . He earns $60, 000 a year, pays child support. She is unemployed. She comes across as bitter. He comes across as a good guy!

This case unfortunately seems mostly retaliatory for the ex husband moving on far faster than the wife did. he dhould have paid what he owed but she also should have for her half. Great call classic JJ

JJ was cool, calm and collected back then. Even let the defendant interrupt as often as he pleased with valuable information which I think she should’ve continued doing because that way she would understand cases better . In more recent cases she barely let people talk.

Mom is petty he is paying $1500 in child support that was a lot of money back then I would have never brought him to court for that amount because of spite .daughter needs to choose better and get her life together she was too young .

Very fair. I agree with the judgment although I doubt the mom will ask her daughter for her half. They coddled her, and they coddled the SIL during the marriage.
