My cousin did this to her husband. They had two beautiful girls together. She met a guy on a girl’s trip to Florida, brought him back home, and told her husband she was leaving. Btw she was pregnant with the bum’s kid. He fell off the wagon and ended up drinking himself to death. I haven’t spoken to her in 17 years. Three years ago, she contacted my husband on Facebook and then sent me a message too. She said she missed me and my sister and wanted to reconnect and that the family’s fallout (an entirely different dumpster fire of a story on their part) didn’t involve us because we were kids and we should move past it. I slept on it for a few days and talked to my parents and decided to say nothing and block her. Regardless of family issues between my dad and her mom (siblings) and their mother (my grandma), she’s still a POS for what she did to her husband and her kids. I refuse to associate with that.

Let her stay gone. She’s not worth the dogsht on your shoe.

God, my heart breaks for this man. It sounds like he gave a ton in this relationship. Being a trucker is sacrificial especially when you do long runs, but it sounds like she was never in this. But to just leave your marriage to sleep with another man before even getting divorced is garbage.

His wife is definitely an immatured girl not a woman. She handled the situation like a child would. Until she accepts accountability she will continue to act like a child and a brat. What's awesome about this guy Is that he doesn't have to stoop to her level. He has a bright future ahead of him. She has a lot of turmoil and crap ahead of her And no future. Just a future of convincing herself she did the right thing by acting childish.

Wonderful advice per usual. Man I really wish I would’ve seen this video over a year ago when I was in a similar situation. Luckily, I ended up coming out on the other side eventually, but this definitely would’ve sped up that process. I spent the first 3-4 months drinking myself to sleep and feeling sorry for myself. It was until I finally allowed myself to grieve that I was able to start the process of moving on
