Buttery and flaky on the outside with a soft and tender center. These Blueberry Scones are bursting with sweet jammy blueberries and so decadent drizzled with a lemon glaze.

SCONES RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
►2 cups all-purpose flour
►3 Tbsp granulated sugar
►1 Tbsp baking powder
►1/2 tsp fine sea salt
►1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, diced
►1 large egg, cold, lightly beaten
►1/2 cup cold heavy whipping cream + 2 Tbsp to brush the tops
►1 tsp vanilla extract
►1 cup blueberries
►1 Tbsp coarse/ raw sugar to sprinkle

Well Natasha you did it again, brought back wonderful memories of baking in the early mornings so we could enjoy wonderful yummy breakfast foods like these great blueberry scones. My recipe calls for shredded butter, I like your way, so much easier. Can't wait to get your book, per ordered it months ago because I knew it would be a hit and I want to be sure to have it on my shelf with the other treasured cookbooks. A little tea shop near me that unfortunately closed had an amazing scone with butterscotch & walnuts. They were amazing! I love experimenting with different flavors. Raspberries and white chocolate is wonderful too 😋

I love scones!
Blueberries are my favorite but I did once try these bacon and cheddar cheese scones that were so amazing.
I like these kinds of things that can be made into sweets or savory kinds of things.

We made the lemon blueberry scones for the first time. They turned out pretty well but had them a little too close together on the bake sheet and they ran together. My glaze was a little too thin but that's an easy fix. We will be making them again. They're super easy to make and oh so yummy. The lemon complements well with the blueberries. Thank you for the 5-star video demo.

I have made this recipe so many times. The blueberry/lemon combo is delicious as is a cranberry/orange combo. I buy fresh cranberries when they are in season and freeze them so I have enough on hand during off season.
