How do we think each cameras have performed?

I own the a7Riii, if you need lowlight performace you must shoot in crop mode . the quality of the video usually comes much sharper than full frame 4k too. I used to have a 35mm canon cinema lens on a speedbooster to shoot 4k footage and still have the full frame look. Everyone asked how I got such unique look to my footage even in lowlight.

I own the A7r lll, and I didn't expect the 42mp camera to keep up with the other two cameras with it's ISO performance. but the thing I noticed most about this video and didn't really expect is how much more nice the newer A7s lll colors and skin tones looked. it seems like Sony has really improved the skin tones over the last three years. but I can make the A7r lll look like how I want in post. but its nice to be that way out of camera, also the focusing on the A7s lll stayed totally locked on 100% of the time.

3 great cameras but you can see the a7siii is clearly the winner.. skin tones have improved so much over the years with the evolution of improvements Sony have made

whats with the flickering on the a7siii? performance color was better on this camera but the jittery on light contrast was distracting bye comparison!

Maybe before uploading these tests, make sure you get the focus right. The a7 iii is clearly not focusing on your eyes.

Basically if you need to make super large pictures, like for posters or billboards, get the A7R. For video purpose, A7S. For general entry and hobbies, get the A7.

Focus seems a little bit off on the A7III though that isn't an issue with the camera. The R7III starts lagging behind noticeably.

Thanks for the video! Very helpful. I'm thinking about buying the a7s iii. The flickering concerned me. You mentioned that it was probably because of a low battery on the LED light. Is this video the only time it's had problems with the LED light?

This can't be true. A7Riii and A7iii look like mobile phone video quality in comparison with A7s iii. How could there be that huge of a difference? Not just in color, but the picture quality. There must be something wrong with video rendering?

I wish the frame size on the right hand side A7Siii would have been the same as the other two, it spoils the comparison.

Nice test. I feel like something weird is going on with your a7iii. I have 2 of them and used to have a a7riii. The video quality in the a7riii could not keep up in low light. But your a7iii looks either out of focus or something

Thanks for your work, but it might be worth reshooting it as focus between the A7iii and the A7siii is miles off, if you look at the writing on the T-shirt, on A7iii the focus is on the writing not the eyes, on A7siii the focus is on the eyes not the T-shirt.
