I love your tutorials Nick. They have me howling. I'd love you to go through EVERY tool in Motion 3. 50% because I have it and use it daily in my job, 50% because I find you hilarious.

i love these videos for there simplicity, they aren't overly produced but just mellow and laid back. i hope it's the case with your recent videos too, haven't watched the new ones yet, just found out your channel.

You can make bounce/jump and excite work on eased/non-linear keyframes by making the first keyframe eased out, for instance. The second frame where it bounces/overshoots must be linear though. It's calculated on speed in pixels/second. So an ease-in would ease-in to 0 pixels per second, AKA a full stop. Thus there's no inertia and nothing to use to calculate a bounce/overshoot. It didn't make sense to me until I understood it from this speed perspective. Hope this helps someone. :)

thanks for the more in-depth tutorials. is there a way to save these property parameters so they don't have to be re-entered each time (similar to the easing values in motion)?

I tried to subscribe again. You sound a little like Mike Birbiglia (who is funny) but you also explain this awesome extension.

Awesome! Thank you 😁.
What is the plugin that are you using to arrange layers in cascade over the timeline?

Hello! On the thumbnail of the video you placed the circle which jumps to the left (both X and Y dimension). However there is no such example in this video. Is there a way to do this easily with this extension?

Nick, is it possible somehow to make a bounce with an ease keyframe effect? For example, I want to make my scale keyframes speed up by the end of animation + bounce effect. But it is your second tutorial where you apply a bounce effect and your scale speed is constant. How I fix that, I create a third linear keyframe almost by the end of animation and move it to the beginning. It helps sometimes but it is not always helpful. Nick, Please, could you help to fix that? :)

Hi Nick, is there a way to apply Excite to non linear keyframes? For example if I want a shape to scale exponentially and still overshoot and bounce back. Love your channel. Ty!
